Images of last night’s game at Little Wars in Baton Rouge; the first scenario in the new Angmar book. We played 9 turns out of 12, and my Arnor force was down to just 3 models, so due to time and the near impossibility of even gaining a tie, we ended the game at that point. Though I didn’t win, it was a lot of fun, and the game looked great, even if I do say so myself!

Arnor Defenders circle the ruined Keep.

The Witch-King of Angmar brings forth his endless legions!

Arnor keeps the forces of Evil at bay, for a while….

But the Warg Riders work their way around the flank!

Pushed hard, and with mounting losses, Arnor falls back, drawing in their lines, while the Nazgul Lord comes around the other side of the keep with a force of Warg-Riders.

An Arnor Captain, in the guise of the King, defends against the onslaught of the Witch-King, holding him off for a turn or two, while more and more Orcs and Warg-Riders close the noose on the rest of the army.

The End is Near for the single remaining Arnor Captain and two Warriors as the noise of the fighting quiets with the loss of most of the remaining Arnor men.
