Miniature Hobby Gaming

Oh! It's like an addiction!

A Long Delayed Update

It’s been many months since I entered anything on here, and it’s not like I haven’t been gaming. Far from it! I’ve painted a ton, and throughout most of the Summer, I played in and hosted a good number of games, a lot of which was in anticipation of my families’ move down to Louisiana. While that isn’t yet completed, my gaming has slowed down some, while my hobby time has not. As a result of that, this will be a shotgun post of things I’ve been working on, and games I’ve played in or have run over the past 10 months.

So at some point in time, it came to me that I wanted to run games of SPACEHULK, an older Games Workshop game that is 10 years out of print. But finding an old copy wouldn’t do; I needed to make it so the current day 40mm Terminator bases could be used in the game! This would require a 50% in crease in the tile size, so I had to make my own. I printed out full-color copies of my terrain and glued it to poster foam board. I learned that you want to get the better quality foam board, as it cuts easier. Using black foam board makes it easier and look better.

We played a few times, and it really is a fun as you remember!

About Me

I’ve been painting miniature figures since I was young, and playing games with them for most of that time. You’ll learn a little bit about me over time as you read my posts, if you visit this site from time to time.
